The goal of The American Woman is to raise $2,500 to send one American Daughter to Sally Ride's
science camp in June 2009.This summer will be the first time that Sally Ride has held her classes
in science for girls on the east coast. The classes are held for three different grade groups, two in
the elementary grades and one in the middle school grades.
